ESCOM Projects (2022–2025)

These projects formed part of ESCOM’s ongoing infrastructure expansion and network strengthening programs aimed at improving electricity distribution, reliability, and access across the country.

Project Scope and Deliverables

During the project period, Creck Hardware was engaged in the supply and delivery of a wide range of electrical infrastructure materials and equipment, including:

• Supply and delivery of power transformers for distribution network upgrades and system reinforcement.
• Supply and delivery of line hardware used in the construction, maintenance, and expansion of overhead power distribution lines.
• Supply and delivery of distribution cables for improved power transmission and network stability.
• Supply and delivery of 10mm² PVC copper single core cables and WASP conductors for both urban and rural electrification projects.
• Supply and delivery of aerial bundled conductors (ABC) to enhance safety, reduce power losses, and improve reliability in distribution networks.
• Supply and delivery of single-phase energy meters, totaling 60,000 units, to support large-scale metering and revenue management initiatives.

Project Implementation and Impact

All materials supplied under these projects were delivered in accordance with ESCOM’s technical specifications and quality standards. Creck Hardware ensured timely procurement, efficient logistics coordination, and reliable delivery schedules to support ESCOM’s nationwide electrification programs.

The supply of energy meters significantly contributed to improving metering coverage, reducing non-revenue electricity losses, and enhancing customer billing accuracy. Similarly, the provision of transformers, conductors, and line hardware supported the expansion and rehabilitation of the national electricity grid, particularly in underserved and growing demand areas.
